Evan Schroeder is a Nanaimo-based REALTOR® with Real Broker BC after spending nine years with Remax.  With nearly a decade of real estate experience, Evan helps buyers, sellers, and relocating families make confident moves throughout Nanaimo and Central Vancouver Island. Previously Evan worked in several sales positions, construction & painting, and in his earlier years with his father's design company giving him a well rounded familiarity with real estate.

He has always held an affinity to real estate, remembering growing up spending a lot of time at his beloved grandparents house, and the sense of belonging and security it provided for the family gatherings. Growing up in Toronto rentals, it was never quite the same feeling as the sense of owning a family home, and he always considers his grandparents home his true place he felt at home. This feeling is what drives Evan in his real estate career- that everyone who should want it, deserve to have that same sense of deep comfort of "home." After relocating to Nanaimo in 2013, Evan set out with his now wife to create the life he always held dearly from childhood that was etched into his young mind, acquiring his first family home mere months after arriving in Nanaimo and being shocked at the quality of life and relative affordability found on the mid island compared to Toronto and other markets like Vancouver and the Fraser Valley or Victoria.

Known for his calm, strategic, and relationship-first approach, Evan focuses on giving clients clear advice, local insight, and a practical plan whether they are buying their first home, selling a long-time property, moving up, downsizing, investing, or relocating to Vancouver Island.

Evan’s goal is simple: to be a trusted bridge between where his clients are now and the Island life they want next. His work combines local market knowledge, modern digital marketing, strong negotiation, and a healthy knowledge of Nanaimo and the surrounding mid island markets of Parksville, Errington, Qualicum Beach, Ladysmith, and other wonderful areas of the mid- Vancouver Island market.

Outside of real estate, Evan is a family man with his wife Brittany, three children, a Golden Retriever, and three cats. He appreciates spending time enjoying the island lifestyle in the mid Vancouver Island area with his family. He understands that a home is far more than a transaction it is the foundation for family, lifestyle, security, and the next chapter of life. He believes the Canadian dream of freedom and prosperity is still is anchored largely in home ownership, as it unlocks an additional layer of security and authority over one's life.\
